To identify  pathways through social research we are committed to:

• Carry out inter- and trans- disciplinary action research aimed at minimizing the negative consequences of global change
• Bring institutional transformations to create an environment in which communities may be able to secure their livelihoods through sustainable actions
• Mainstreaming marginalized, deprived and vulnerable communities into decision making process through capacity building, networking and advocacy.
